Pinball
Age: 3 years old
Breed: Male, Medium-breed Mix
Weight: 55 lbs.
Adoption Fee: $200
Pinball’s story started off quite rough. He was found starved, confused, scared and unsure of who to trust. With time, love, and training, this handsome boy has blossomed into an incredible dog with the biggest heart. He’s neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, potty trained, and crate trained, with his crate serving as his safe space. Pinball has completed professional board and training, giving him excellent recall and solid command skills. He loves walks, runs, and adventures, and adores spending time with people, especially older kids, and he’s even known for giving hugs. Pinball is looking for an active forever family who can keep up with his playful spirit and provide the love and structure he deserves. Loyal, goofy, and full of heart, he’s ready to be someone’s best friend for life. He has been with the rescue for 1 year and it's his turn to find his furever family!

Whisper
Age: 1 Years Old
Breed: American Pitbull Terrier
Weight: 55 lbs.
Adoption Fee: $300
Whisper is a beautiful girl who has overcome so much and is finally ready for the forever home she deserves. After completing her heartworm treatment, this resilient girl is healthy, happy, and excited to start the next chapter of her life with a family of her own. Whisper is fully vaccinated, spayed, potty trained, and crate trained. She thrives on routine and loves spending time with her people. She has a sweet, affectionate personality and forms strong bonds with those she trusts. Whisper does well with other dogs when given slow, proper introductions and would enjoy having a canine companion who respects her space. Because small children make her nervous, she would do best in a home with older, respectful kids who understand how to interact with dogs.
If you're looking for a loyal companion who will reward your love with endless devotion, Whisper may be the perfect match. She's ready to leave her rescue journey behind to spend the rest of her life knowing what it feels like to be safe, loved, and home.

Bronx
Age: 9 Months Old
Breed: Doberman
Weight: 80 lbs.
Adoption Fee: $300
Bronx is proof that one act of kindness can change a life forever. This handsome young pup was found running through traffic on Highway 741 in Heartland, Texas, frightened and in danger. Thankfully, a Good Samaritan named Cris stopped to save him from being hit by a car. After searching for his family, checking for a microchip, and waiting for someone to come forward, it became clear that no one was looking for him. In honor of his rescuer, who is from New York, this special boy was given the fitting name Bronx.
Estimated to be just 8–9 months old, Bronx has already shown how resilient and loving he is. He’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and is doing wonderfully with both crate training and potty training. When he arrived, Bronx had several skin infections and pressure sores, likely from spending long periods lying on hard, confined surfaces. With proper medical care, he’s healing beautifully and feeling better every day.
Bronx is also heartworm positive, but his future is bright. Hearts & Howls Rescue will cover the full cost of his heartworm treatment, including all injections and related veterinary care, and he will begin treatment soon. His adopter simply needs to provide him with a safe, calm home while he completes his recovery.
Despite everything he has endured, Bronx has a gentle spirit and so much love to give. His journey may not have had the easiest beginning, but he's ready for a future filled with comfort, security, and a family who will love him the way he has always deserved. Could you be the one to give Bronx the happy ending he's been waiting for?

Wizard
Age: 4 Years Old
Breed: Male
Weight: 12 lbs.
Adoption Fee: $130
Wizard’s journey is nothing short of incredible. Rescued from Dallas Animal Services in heartbreaking condition, this sweet boy has already overcome more than most ever should. When he was found, Wizard was suffering from a severe yeast infection on his skin and painful corneal ulcers in both eyes. Now, his eye ulcers are officially HEALED! He has an incredible medical foster who happens to be a vet tech. While he will have some scarring due to how severe they were, Wizard is now comfortable, happy, and seeing the world so much brighter. His fur is slowly growing back, and with each passing day, he’s becoming more and more beautiful. Watching his transformation has truly felt like magic.
Wizard is a gentle, curious soul. He may take a little time to feel safe, but once he does, his sweet personality shines through. His foster family has loved watching him learn to trust, explore, and discover the world around him—it’s been such a special journey.
Sadly, recent X-rays revealed that at some point in his past, Wizard was shot with a BB gun. The BB is still inside him, and due to its placement, it’s too risky to remove. While we may never understand how anyone could hurt such a loving cat, Wizard isn’t letting his past define him. He is optimistic for a brighter future, could it be with you?
